There are almost three-hundred species of birds in Zion National Park. Of note among these many inhabitants are the Peregrine Falcon, and the California Condor. Each year in the spring and summer Peregrine Falcons return to Zion to breed and raise their young. California Condors have been increasingly seen in the canyon, especially on and around Angels Landing.
